Assessment Policy
At Anand Niketan International – Sarkhej, we believe assessment is an essential tool for learning rather than just of learning. It is designed to gather meaningful information that informs teaching and guides student growth. Our assessment system achieves a balance between Formative and Summative Assessments, fostering continuous development and academic excellence.
Formative Assessment
Formative assessments are ongoing and aim to support student learning through regular feedback and active involvement. Tools and strategies include:
- Classroom observations
- Quizzes and academic games
- Project work and presentations
- Self and peer assessments
- Field trips and experiential learning activities
Summative Assessment
Summative assessments evaluate student achievement at specific intervals against set standards. These include:
- Mid-term examinations
- Final examinations
