Anand Niketan International has developed a curriculum that is engaging, relevant, significant and challenging. Its aim is to impart 21st century skills, so that students can emerge as confident, competent and contributory global citizens. A strong focus on integrating formal with informal learning helps learners acquire the necessary skills for inter-disciplinary thinking, critical thinking, problem solving and resolving conflict.
Right through grades 1 – 12, to help learners remain competitive in a developing society, our curriculum offers facilities for extended learning like inviting guest speakers, going on field trips, attending nature camps, joining internships, attending various clubs, fine arts and performing arts, language skills and creativity, personality development, ethics and entrepreneurship.

We as a school promote interactive and experiential learning while focussing on the development of Multiple Intelligences, Emotional Skills and Life Skills of the learners for their integrated and holistic growth.

Our curriculum helps our students develop multi-dimensionally. They need to be ‘lifelong learners’ discovering the world day in and day out.

Primary School

  • Creativity is the key to success in the future, and primary education is where teachers can bring creativity in children at that level. – Abdul Kalam
It is designed for learners aged 5 to 11 years. It develops learner skills, knowledge and understanding through the primary years which form an excellent foundation for future study.  Cambridge International for Primary Learners of stages 1 to 6 aims to develop young learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged.
For the study of math and science, our curriculum makes provision for age appropriate exploration of syllabus concepts and the focus is on exploration, experimentation and discovery as they learn through play.
As students progress, an enquiry-based style of teaching and learning is stimulated, with the enquiry objectives integrated throughout, to encourage learning of these skills alongside the subject specific concepts.
At each level, mathematical and scientific concepts are illustrated through diagrams, demonstration, practical observations and guided tasks.

Secondary School

  • Children must be taught how to think, not what to think. – Margaret Mead
Cambridge International for Lower Secondary  aims at learners aged 11 to 14 years. It sets clear learning objectives for the first three years of  secondary education. Each subject’s curriculum framework is designed to engage learners in an active and creative learning journey.
The language curriculum enables learners to communicate confidently and effectively and to develop the skills to respond to a range of information, media and texts with understanding and enjoyment. The math curriculum revolves around problem solving, which provides a structure for the application of mathematical skills and development of a holistic understanding of the subject.
The science curriculum focuses on scientific enquiry which is about considering ideas, evaluating evidence, planning investigative work, and recording and analysing data. This aims to develop confidence and interest in scientific knowledge.

Higher Secondary School

  • Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world – Nelson Mandela
The Upper Secondary Curriculum of Cambridge International is typically for learners aged 14 to 16 years. It builds on the foundations of Lower Secondary. Cambridge International  provides a broad and balanced study across a wide range of subjects, using learner-centred and enquiry-based approaches to learning and offers a flexible curriculum, with a choice in subjects in any combination.
